A Midwestern Charm
Deanna Morris was born and raised in Chicago, IL. In 1999, Deanna discovered a keen interest in modeling and acting. Deanna's career as an actor took off in 2000; which later landed her appearances on The Mike & Juliet Morning Show, GSN's “Baggage,” VH1’s “Tough Love Co-Ed,” and on the Investigation Discovery Channel on a “True Crime” series.
In 2008, she landed a big role, playing herself, on the reality international television series called “Entrapment,” later released in 2009 in South Korea and Russia. After relocating to California in 2010, she appeared in the Indie films "No Weapon Formed Against Us" as Roxanne, starring Tommy "Tiny" Lister, and in the feature film "White T" as Felicia starring Eric Roberts, the Mixon Brothers, and many others.
She later joined a traveling theatre group; which allowed her the experience of performing live in front of several hundreds. Deanna has been able to act with major actors, actresses, and industry insiders at a pace that very few young professionals have experienced. Her determination to learn all areas of her craft did not stop there with a range varying from commercials, print ads, magazine write-ups, theatre, film and television. She has gone onto publishing two books, “S.M.I.L.E” a motivational book/journal and “The Actor’s Journal.” According to many of her co-stars, producers, and directors; the sky is no limit for this young star that has incredible range, intense concentration, and a steely determination to be involved with projects that challenge her professionally with wide-ranging subject matters and characters.
